The longer you are in Oxford, the more obtuse and opaque your sense of humour becomes. I still enjoy hearing from you, but I cannot fairly say that I understand more than about10%. I do you keep railing about things for many more years. At the moment, my partner Elizabeth is roaming about around the London to Birmingham area on a quilting tour that I decided I didn’t have the energy to manage. I would like to have been able to buy you a drink, but that will have to wait for another time. If you are ever foolish to New Hampshire, tell me and I will meet you or invite you over.
