There’s a lorry at the bottom of my garden

Meindl
Day Two:
The truck traverses Mill Street and is now at the bottom of my garden. While the apple tree will cover the Wall when it is built, to some extent, I need some advice on fast growing beautiful plants to shield the monstrosity once it’s erected.

  1. It depends on the surfacce of the Wall. If it has an coarse texture i would recomment fast growing and flowering twiners like clematis, in red but also other colores. If it has an plain surface take Parthenocissus tricuspidata or Hydrangea anomala ssp. petiolaris.

There’s a song about that – ‘There’s a lorry at the bottom of my garden, if you know just what I mean…’ Eric Clapton, Derrick and the Dominoes, 1971/2?
