THE TIGER lighter we pictured yesterday had its day of glory, like a Mayfly, but churning out the quantity of gas it did was clearly “unsustainable”. Or in English, it ran out fast.
We have replaced it with another model, made in India, and that seems to work quite well. As in when you click it, a moderate flame and a transparent covering shows you you’re not damaging the ozone layer overmuch and burning off your whiskers and risking your life and your immediate neighbours every time you click it. ♣
